Stephen Gill

Stephen Gill is a refrigeration engineer, consultant and international advocate for the people and skills behind cooling. He is the Founder and Head of Secretariat of World Refrigeration Day, Founder of Global HVACR Women Week, and a Co-founder of the International Network for Women in Cooling. A former President of the UK Institute of Refrigeration, Stephen has been elected to begin a second term as President in November 2026. Throughout his career, he has worked to increase recognition of the sector, connect people and organisations internationally, and create opportunities for knowledge and experience to be shared.
